His eyes flickered . I laughed nervously ," he isn't that ... Dangerous , is he ?"
"what do you think ?
"he creates akumas using the sadness in people's heart . Then , those akumas are his machines , fighting machines to kill people . Their missiles are injected with poison , strong enough to break people's body matter into ashes in seconds ."
I stared at him in disbelief . This is not what I expected . This is the truth ...?
He saw my expression and added ," well , at least you aren't harmed . We fight these akumas with Innocence , " he lifted his left hand and this time I saw a cross carved straight into the skin ," this is my Innocence . You could say that the akumas are black matters and well , we are the whites .
"Ah of course , I can't expect you to believe me ..." he said , standing up .
" ah , no . No , no ! I mean , I believe you . It's just too absurd , why would I be targeted ?"
He smiled sadly and looked straight into my eyes , " I think you know the answer ," he walked away .
Yes , I knew the answer . I fiddled with my fingers . I looked straight into the fireplace . The ingredients to create are sadness , grieve and that thought .
I wanted my best friend to come back alive .
