The knocks were getting louder ." Okay , okay ! I'm coming ... "
Rov and Jav's eyes met , and for a moment , Jav thought that Rov was hiding something from Gean .
A young man walked into the house . He is wearing a long cloak , like Rov and Gean , but his eyes were tired . He slumped into the sofa near Jav .
" Ah , Geanevir . Looks like I'm not the only visitor , who's this ? "
"Javbier . Javbier Lontage . " Jav said , looking at the man with utter disgust . Something about him just did not seemed right .
" Hmmm ... You don't look local ... Are you from the another realm ? "
" I just don't belong here . Who are you , by the way ? "
" Ah , rudeness just likes to be in the way when people just met . I'm Romeian Bd Gonaminere . "
Jav and Romeian's eyes met , and quickly , Jav looked away . He did not like the atmosphere . He wanted to leave , wanted to get home . But , how had he came here ? He seems to have forgotten about something ... But it was hard to recall .
" He is our friend from the ministry , " Rov uttered , " although i don't quite like him as well . "
" That's straight . Anyway , my purpose here is clear , isn't it ? Darkness is engulfing , soon , and it will reach Beaure . The nearby town , Turae , has already fallen . Although Beaure has strong walls to protect , we aren't quite out of danger . "
Bemused , Jav asked ," what in the world are you talking about ? "
" The boy doesn't know ? "
" Apparently he has just landed in Beaure and knows nothing . I , will do the explaining . You are currently in the town , Beaure . We have a few main towns . Beaure is one of the most protected on this land we call , the Story Realm . Everything here is a story . Even now , we are in a story . This is a storyland where a lot takes place . I think you have perhaps heard of Romeo and Juliet ? Now , there's a person , called Venice or what we call , the Darkness. This guy is the person that controls darkness .
" Darkness , is englufing the whole of the Story Realm . That's why we have the war games . The one the decides our rank . The highest ranks would set out to defeat the Darkness . When , thirty 'AA' ranks have been achieved , they would set out . "
" Aren't you scared of death ? "
The trio looked at each others , and Romeian gave a hollow laugh .
" Death . Death is imminent . Death is just another element of living . The living dies , and the death still lives on . Death . If death frightens you , then , the living shouldn't be living . If we can help the land revive its prosperity , revive love , that's enough . Even if it causes our death , we would be satisfied . That's how we are taught to grew up . But , of course , there are people who are afraid of death . Cowards ! "
